(Patriot Insider) – President Trump is still being attacked and targeted by rabid leftists with political grudges and agendas, one such individual being New York state Attorney General Letitia James. She doesn’t even try to be subtle with her obvious disdain for President Trump and his family.
She’s been on a crusade to bring Trump down through an investigation into the Trump Organization but it’s pretty clear the entire charade has been politically motivated from the start.
Now a judge in NY has jumped on board and ruled that President Trump and two of his children, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, must appear in court for deposition proceedings and they have 21 days to do so, according to the Associated Press.
Judge Arthur Engoron ordered the Trumps to appear for deposition after a two-hour hearing with lawyers from James’ office and Trump family attorneys.

In his ruling, Judge Engoron wrote that James’ investigation “uncovers copious evidence of possible financial fraud, and wants to question, under oath, several of the entities’ principals, including its namesake.”
“She has the clear right to do so.”
Ivanka and Donald Jr. have previously been issued subpoenas to appear in court for depositions as part of the investigation. Engoron has been involved before when he compelled Eric Trump to testify, according to CBS 42.
Naturally, President Trump has stated that he does not agree with the investigation. In a statement made Tuesday, Trump called James’ investigation into his company a “sham investigation of a great company that has done a spectacular job for New York and beyond.”
He’s not wrong. President Trump has made a lot of work for trade and union workers and employs thousands around the world. He’s literally been enabling Americans to support their families for decades.

Partisan prosecutor James has been after Trump for some time now and has even bragged on social media about her efforts and ability to go after him and his organization.

No one in this country can pick and choose if and how the law applies to them.

James’ investigation involves the Trump organization’s evaluation of its properties and assets. She’s not the only one trying to take down Trump. Last summer, a Manhattan prosecutor charged Trump Organization executive Allen Weisselberg with tax fraud in connection with James’ investigation. Weisselberg has pled not guilty.
During the hearing in front of Engoron on Thursday, Alina Habba, one of President Trump’s lawyers, has argued that James is engaging in politically motivated selective prosecution against Trump and his family.
“We have an extraordinary rare case where we can prove selective prosecution because she’s put her words out there so much and taken every opportunity to voice her vendetta against Donald Trump and his family to take him down,” Habba said.
It’s clear James is just an unhinged, angry Democrat who hates President Trump and wants to see him destroyed.
