(Patriot Insider) – For the last two years, there have been attempts by folks on the political right to dig into the strange occurrences that took place during the 2020 election to find out whether or not the radical left might have cheated in order to achieve victory in key races across the country, including the presidential race. Lots of evidence points to this being the case, but those in positions of power who are able to examine this material have declined to do so.
Meanwhile, there have been a number of cases where Democrats have actually been busted trying to interfere with elections. A good case in point comes from the state of Arizona where a Democrat has now been sentenced to a stint of 30 days in jail due to her involvement in local ballot harvesting during a 2020 municipal election.
According to Bill Pan, writer for The Epoch Times, Guillermina Fuentes (pictured here), 66, who previously served as a mayor of San Luis and is a school board member, was ordered on Thursday to turn herself in to the Yuma County Jail, according to the office of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich. She’s been placed on two years probation.
“Fuentes, alongside her associate Alma Juarez, earlier this year pleaded guilty to one count each of ballot abuse. She was accused of illegally collecting early ballots from four individuals who were not her family members during the August 2020 primary. Investigators reported at that time that she was using her position in the San Luis community to persuade local voters to let her or her acquaintances deposit their ballots,” Pan noted in his article.
“According to the report (pdf), the Arizona Attorney General’s office started investigating Fuentes following a complaint of a potential case of voter fraud. Video evidence provided to investigators apparently showed that Fuentes was collecting and filling out ballots at a table outside a polling place,” Pan wrote.
“A group of subjects, lead by Guillermina Fuentes were seen on video manning a table and appearing to be supporting particular candidates,” the report states. “A female identified as Alma Juarez approached the table and made contact with a second female identified as Guillermina Fuentes. Fuentes is ultimately observed taking a ballot from Juarez.”
“In the video, it is clear that the ballot envelope was unsealed,” it said. “Fuentes was observed to pick up a pen or pencil and write on the ballot envelope. She then pulls the ballot out of the envelope and makes three marks consistent with the filling in of spaces on a ballot to make a candidate selection. Fuentes put the ballot back in the envelope and sealed it. She then retrieved several more ballot envelopes from a folder on the table and handed them to Juarez. Juarez then walks toward the polling location.”
The video was recorded and then sent off to the Yuma County Sheriff’s office by Gary Garcia Snyder, a member of the GOP who was running for a spot on the San Luis City Council as a write-in candidate. Snyder is currently running for a seat in the state Senate.
“In a separate proceeding Thursday, Juarez was sentenced to a 12-month term of probation for her ballot abuse offense, the attorney general’s office said,” the Epoch Times reported.
According to the state’s anti-ballot harvesting law from 2016, which was upheld by the Supreme Court just last year, it’s a felony for a person to turn in early ballots of other individuals unless they are a family member, household member, or caregiver. A total of sixteen states around the country currently allow for a voter to designate a non-family member to return their ballot for them, according to information from the National Conference of State Legislatures.
The mainstream media would have you believe that only folks on the fringe would believe that the 2020 presidential election was tampered with, but that’s not true. In fact, John Lott over at RealClear Politics earlier in the year revealed that voters, by a margin of 52 percent to 40 percent, believe that “cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.”
It seems to me that if such a large portion of Americans are thinking this way, then maybe the evidence that suggests cheating occurred ought to be taken more seriously?
