BREAKING: CDC Chief Makes Startling Admission About COVID Deaths, Media Can’t Believe It!

(Patriot Insider) – When the COVID charade first began two years ago in the early months of 2019, if you dared to suggest that some people would die from COVID-19 because they are just at higher risk (like the elderly or those with weakened immune systems) you would have been crucified on social media and told you hate people and want them to die.

Acknowledging the fact that viruses have killed people and can kill people and that’s just part of life, was not allowed, and still isn’t for us common folk.

In an interesting and ironic turn of events, the CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has now made remarks essentially admitting that people who are already “unwell” are the ones dying from the virus, even if they’re vaccinated.

Well, no kidding!

“The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities,” she said Friday in an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

“So really these are people who were unwell to begin with,” Walensky said.

Walensky is basically admitting the reality of seasonal viruses which has been true since forever. Some people are just going to be more vulnerable to viruses no matter what precautions we take.

All the precautions and rules and mandates and mitigation efforts have not stopped people from contracting and, in some cases, dying from COVID.

Walensky referenced a CDC study of vaccinated people but the clip that has been doing the rounds on social media left that out. Leftists naturally had a meltdown over her remarks.

Those who are critical of the federal government’s COVID response wasted no time pointing out the fact that one year ago the data on the CDC’s own website showed that only 6% of “COVID deaths” were from COVID alone while 94% had an average of 2.6 comorbidities.

Meanwhile, a CDC study published in July found that 95% of those hospitalized for COVID had at least one underlying medical condition.

The most common conditions were essential hypertension (50.4%), disorders of lipid metabolism (49.4%) and obesity (33%). The data were drawn from hospitalized patients aged 18 years or older with COVID-19 from March 2020 through March 2021 in more than 800 U.S. hospitals.

In other words, after yet another year of COVID the truth and reality about the virus remains the same. Individuals who have at least one underlying medical condition are at much higher risk for hospitalization and death than healthy people.

This has always been the case for COVID as well as the seasonal flu virus, however, epidemiologists who have suggested implementing a “focused-protection” response to COVID, instead of forcing everyone to quarantine, wear masks and adhere to other futile rules, have been ostracized and silenced by the government and the mainstream media.

It’s clear that healthy people are not at great risk from COVID. We should have been focused on protecting vulnerable segments of the population while allowing healthy people to go on about their lives as usual.

Many found Walensky’s comments to be disrespectful and callous towards disabled and chronically ill individuals with some on Twitter starting and using the hashtag #MyDisabledLifeIsWorthy.

Disability rights activists Imani Barbarin wrote, “Contrary to popular belief, CDC Director, disabled people aren’t just data points… How callous to say you’re encouraged by the prospect of their deaths.”

Matthew Courtland, a lawyer who describes himself as “chronically ill” and “disabled,” wrote that it’s “no wonder that @CDCgov has consistently refused to issue guidance protecting the health & wellbeing of chronically ill Americans – our deaths clearly don’t count.”
