Dems In A Panic Over Presidential Election Audit In Arizona, But The Senate Is On The Line As Well

(Patriot Insider) – There’s a lot more riding on the Arizona audit than most people probably realize. While the big focus is on the 2020 presidential election, the US Senate is also on the line.

Both the presidential election and the US Senate race that took place on Election Day as well are being looked at as part of the Maricopa County forensic audit that was commissioned by state Senate Republicans.

The audit has been vehemently opposed by Democrats and corrupt RINOs alike and for good reason. The Democrats’ control of the Senate is razor thin. Should fraud and corruption be exposed and the Maricopa County results be deemed illegitimate it could result in the flipping of a Senate seat, giving Republicans the majority.

In November, Democrat Mark Kelly beat Republican Martha McSally by around 78,806 votes statewide.

In Maricopa County, Kelly beat McSally by 80,183 votes. Should the audit prove that the results in Maricopa County were arrived at fraudulently, it could mean that Kelly’s seat would be stripped from him and given to McSally.

The Gateway Pundit points out that there isn’t much information available as to how to address a situation where a Senate seat was obtained through fraudulent election results.

TGP predicts, however, that if fraud turns out to be the reason for Kelly’s win then the seat should and potentially would go to the legitimate winner, which would be McSally.

The only information available in regards to filling vacant Senate seats involves the death of a Senator or the resignation of a Senator. Fraud being a reason for a vacant seat is not discussed in the procedures for electing Senators.

According to Article I, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, as later amended by paragraph 2 of the Seventeenth (17th) Amendment. Ratified in 1913, the 17th Amendment not only changed how Senators are to be elected but also gave details for the filling of vacant seats:

“When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.”

The situation in Arizona, however, doesn’t seem to be addressed by these rules. Should the audit determine that McSally is the actual winner based on the number of valid votes then Kelly should be forced to resign so that McSally can take her rightful place.

Of course, should McSally be determined to be the actual winner of the Senate race that would immediately give Republicans the majority and would be a major relief for tens of millions of Americans who are scared of the radical agenda Democrats are attempting to push through with Biden in the Oval Office.

The fraud and corruption took place. It’s just a matter of uncovering it and proving it. The Democrats are doing everything they can to stop that from happening and it’s certainly no wonder why.
