FBI Whistleblower Pays A Price For Exposing Unjust ‘Persecution’ Of Conservative Americans

(Patriot Insider) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been so heavily infiltrated by progressives that it is now being used as a political weapon to try and weed out potential threats to Joe Biden’s run for a second term in the White House, as well as targeting other forms of political opposition and attempting to silence them.

We have begun to see this clearly thanks to the FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home, but it actually goes much deeper than that. FBI Special Agent Steve Friend has come out and made some rather disturbing allegations against the agency that reveal just how far the persecution of conservatives at the hands of federal law enforcement officials really goes.

The New York Post has reported that Friend, a whistleblower, filed a complaint with the DOJ inspector general on Wednesday that reveals the FBI field office in our nation’s capital has been politicized and is cooking the books to exaggerate the threat posed by alleged domestic terrorism and utilizing the “overzealous” January 6 probe as justification to harass Americans and violate their sacred, God-given rights protected by the Constitution.

“Friend, 37 (pictured here), a respected 12-year veteran of the FBI and a SWAT team member, was suspended Monday, stripped of his gun and badge, and escorted out of the FBI field office in Daytona Beach, Fla., after complaining to his supervisors about the violations,” the report said.

“He was declared absent without leave last month for refusing to participate in SWAT raids that he believed violated FBI policy and were a use of excessive force against Jan. 6 subjects accused of misdemeanor offenses,” the report continued.

The NY Post refers to Friend as an American hero, noting that he has two small children and has essentially destroyed his “dream career” due to the fact that he could not live with his own conscience if he allowed himself to be part of what he says is the unjust persecution of conservatives in the U.S.

“I have an oath to uphold the Constitution,” he went on to tell his supervisors when he asserted his conscientious objection to participating in an Aug. 24 raid on a J6 subject in the Jacksonville, Fla., area. “I have a moral objection and want to be considered a conscientious objector.”

“Friend, who did not vote for Donald Trump in the 2020 election, said he told his immediate boss twice that he believed the raid, and the investigative process leading up to it, violated FBI policy and the subject’s right under the Sixth Amendment to a fair trial and Eighth Amendment right against cruel and unusual punishment,” the report noted.

This wasn’t a politically motivated move for Friend. He had nothing to gain from this and only everything to lose. Yet he still chose to do the right thing. No doubt this was probably the hardest decision he’s ever had to make. But he followed what was right, and that’s all any of us can do.

The Post then stated that it had obtained the complaint that was filed with DOJ Inspector General Michal Horowitz, noting that the hero explains several major violations of FBI policy involving the J6 investigations.

Friend states that he was removed from the active investigations into child sexual exploitation and human trafficking in order to work on cases related to J6. He was then informed that “domestic terrorism was a higher priority” than child pornography. Let that sink in, folks. In the eyes of the federal government, being a conservative is a worse crime than harming innocent children. Unreal isn’t it?

Here are a few of his allegations as laid out by the Post:

-The Washington, DC, field office is “manipulating” FBI case management protocol and farming out J6 cases to field offices across the country to create the false impression that right-wing domestic violence is a widespread national problem that goes far beyond the “black swan” event of Jan. 6, 2021.

-As a result, he was listed as lead agent in cases he had not investigated and which his supervisor had not signed off on, in violation of FBI policy.

-FBI domestic terrorism cases are being opened on innocent American citizens who were nowhere near the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, based on anonymous tips to an FBI hotline or from Facebook spying on their messages. These tips are turned into investigative tools called “guardians,” after the FBI software that collates them.

-The FBI has post-facto designated a grassy area outside the Capitol as a restricted zone, when it was not restricted on Jan. 6, 2021, in order to widen the net of prosecutions.

Another of the allegations is that the bureau is planning to prosecute everyone that is even peripherally associated with the events of J6. Another wave of individuals involved in the situation are soon to be referred to the Daytona Beach agency for “investigation and arrest.”

“The Jacksonville area was ‘inundated’ with ‘guardian’ notifications and FBI agents were dispatched to conduct surveillance and knock on people’s doors, including people who had not been in Washington, DC, on Jan. 6, 2021, or who had been to the Trump rally that day but did not go inside the Capitol,” the report said.

Friend’s speaking out has come with real consequences for. As we’re all well aware, doing the right thing, standing up against evil and corruption, always comes with a cost. That’s why heroes are self-sacrificial people. If you aren’t willing to give up everything to stand boldly for the truth, then you aren’t really living for the truth.

He went on to reveal that his bosses ignored the complaints he made about “manipulative casefile practice [which] creates false and misleading crime statistics, constituting false official federal statements.”

“Instead of hundreds of investigations stemming from an isolated incident at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, FBI and DOJ officials point to significant increases in domestic violent extremism and terrorism around the United States,” Friend revealed.

“At no point was I advised or counseled on where to take my disclosure beyond the reprising officials above; the threatened reprisal constituted a de facto gag on my whistleblowing,” the whistleblower said.

On Aug. 19, Friend told the boss immediately above him, Supervisory Senior Resident Agent Greg Federico, that he felt it was “inappropriate to use an FBI SWAT team to arrest a subject for misdemeanor offenses and opined that the subject would likely face extended detainment and biased jury pools in Washington, DC.”

He then said, “I suggested alternatives such as the issuance of a court summons or utilizing surveillance groups to determine an optimal, safe time for a local sheriff deputy to contact the subjects and advise them about the existence of the arrest warrant.”

Federico responded by telling Friend it would’ve been better to just “call in sick” instead of speaking out about his objection and “threatened reprisal indirectly by asking how long I saw myself continuing to work for the FBI.”

Four days after that, Friend was then summoned to Jacksonville in order to meet with the next set of bosses above him which included Assistant Special Agents in Charge Coult Markovsky and Sean Ryan, concerning his refusal to partake in the SWAT raid.

“He told them about his concerns over “irregular” case handling of J6 matters that he believed were in violation of a legal rule known as “Brady” that requires prosecutors to disclose evidence that would exonerate a defendant,” the report noted.

The New York Post then reported, “They asked if he believed any J6 rioters committed crimes and he replied: ‘Some of the people who entered the Capitol committed crimes, but others were innocent. I elaborated that I believed some innocent individuals had been unjustly prosecuted, convicted and sentenced.'”

Markovsky went on to ask Friend if he believed that J6 rioters who murdered cops should be prosecuted. The problem, of course, is that this did not happen during the unfolding of the events that day. When Friend made that point, Markovsky said he was being a “bad teammate.”

Both of these agents then “threatened reprisal again by warning that my refusal [to go on the SWAT raid] could amount to insubordination. References were made to my future career prospects with the FBI.” Friend was then labeled as being AWOL on the day the raid happened and was thus stripped of his pay.

“A week later, he was told to meet the top agent in Jacksonville, Special Agent in Charge Sherri Onks, who told him he needed to do some “soul searching” and decide if he wanted to work for the FBI,” the report said.

When Friend informed her that “many of my colleagues expressed similar concerns to me but had not vocalized their objections to FBI executive management,” she told him his “views represented an extremely small minority of the FBI workforce.”

Onks then shared a rather emotional — more appropriately referred to as “dramatic” — experience of how she was afraid for her life during the events of Jan. 6. You know, while she was comfy and cozy on the seventh floor of the J. Edgar Hoover building, which was secured, while protesters were a mile away, seizing “the Capitol and threatened the United States’ democracy.”

“Friend says his concerns are shared by large numbers of rank-and-file FBI agents across the country who believe they are being used as pawns to pursue the political agenda of the bosses in Washington, DC.,” the report continued. “These kinds of abuses of the law are a ‘morale killer’ for field agents, he says.”

“Many agents, who joined the FBI in the wake of 9/11, are keeping their heads down because they are close to their 20-year retirement with full pension. But he says they are equally disgusted at being forced to take part in the politicization of federal law enforcement,” the NY Post reported.

The real question is whether or not any sort of action will be taken against the individuals who are within the FBI and are allowing the agency to be used as weapons against conservatives for simply sharing their thoughts and beliefs.

While it’s critical for the truth to be known by the masses, it’s just as important for people to be held accountable for their actions.

  2. Dont be afraid and intimidated WHISTLEBLOWERS you are protected under the CONSTITUTION! EFF the FBI and its indoctrinated bullies.! Weed them out.!

  3. I Think most Rank and File FBI agents are good people who are concerned that they will be terminated and lose any benefits after twenty years or near twenty years. If this whistle blower’s complaints can be verified by interviewing, under oath, supervising staff, then they must be prosecuted to the full extent of the laws, bylaws and standards of practice of the FBI as well as the constitution. When I read about and see on television people being unjustly convicted and sentenced to up to twelve years in prison for trespassing and actually being innocent of the charges, it actually makes me sick to my stomach. The FBI and Merrick Garland and his use of federal law enforcement agencies to further the career of of a President that is destroying America and violating the rights of American citizens to do this, it makes it so much easier to believe that the 2020 election was actually stolen and Joe Biden’s presidency should be immediately terminated and a he resigns in disgrace for the abuses to citizens at his direction. Merrick Garland should be tried and, should he be convicted, sent to prison. A review of all the cases of J6 arrestees and appropriate action taken in each case. Better yet they should all be pardoned and sent home with apologies from Biden, Garland, the FBI, and Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi because her cheer leading for the prosecution of all these people is partly to blame for the extreme sentences.
