(Patriot Insider) – Anyone who’s been paying attention since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic knows the virus did not come from an animal and that its origins were much more nefarious.
Now, a new report by Republicans on the Senate Health Committee has officially concluded that the virus originated in the Wuhan, China, lab and “was most likely the result of a research-related incident.”
Of course, it may be entirely impossible to prove the virus was unleashed intentionally, at least as of now. The best outcome is Congress officially concluding the virus came from a lab rather than an animal until Republicans can conduct further and more in-depth investigations into the matter, which they’ve vowed to do if they take control of Congress.
The study cites details about the early spread of COVID and notes the fact that no animal host has been identified after almost three years. It also highlights the troubled biosafety procedures at labs in Wuhan as a reason to doubt a natural zoonotic origin.
The 35-page report by Republicans admits that there is no way to definitively know the virus’ origins at this point, as more evidence is needed. However, the report states, “The hypothesis of a natural zoonotic origin no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt, or the presumption of accuracy.”
The report might seem like old news. It’s based on information that is already publicly available but the purpose of the report is to encourage calls for Washington to further investigate the origins of the virus.
Of course, we know the Biden regime and Democrats won’t lift a finger to do any further investigations but a more aggressive probe will come from Republicans after they win big on November 8.
The Wall Street Journal explained:
Previous zoonotic disease outbreaks—in which a pathogen jumps from animals to man—have occurred in multiple locations as a virus circulates in animal populations, while the Covid virus is known to have emerged only in Wuhan, home to laboratories conducting research on coronaviruses, the report notes. In addition, it says, no animal has been identified as infected with the virus before the December 2019 pandemic outbreak.
The debate over the origin of COVID has been a contentious one with China even suggesting that a US lab may have been the virus’s origin.
A US intelligence report released last year failed to give any answers or insight into the question saying only that the virus didn’t show signs of deliberate genetic engineering and concluded that in order to get a full understanding of the virus’s origins, more cooperation would be needed from Beijing.
However, we can’t just trust the federal government to be honest and upfront about their investigation into COVID when so many within the Biden regime are bought and paid for by the Chinese Communist Party, including Biden himself.
There certainly seems to be more compelling evidence to support the lab-leak theory than the theory that it came from animals.
According to US intelligence reporting in 2019, three researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology had become sick enough to require hospitalization prompting concerns of a lab leak.
It’d have to be a pretty huge coincidence for the virus to infect three workers from the Wuhan lab via animal transmission.
