House Republicans To Vote On ABOLISHING IRS, Eliminating Income Tax

(Patriot Insider) – There are a lot of good things in the works by the new Republican-led Congress, but perhaps one of the most exciting and long overdue projects is a new bill that is soon to be voted on that would completely abolish the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and eliminate the national income tax, replacing it with a national consumption tax. This, ladies and gentlemen, would be completely and totally epic to see come to fruition. Especially since the radical left is desperately attempting to weaponize the IRS like they have the FBI.

Houston Keene over at Fox News Digital wrote that the House will be taking a vote on the Fair Tax Act from Georgia GOP Rep. Buddy Carter, which has been reintroduced, has as its mission the reeling in of the IRS and the removal of the national income tax, along with other taxes, replacing them with just one consumption tax. It’s a brilliant move that needs to happen as soon as possible. This would lighten the load on so many hard working Americans and immediately improve the nation’s economy.

“The vote on the bill was made as part of the deal between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and members of the House Freedom Caucus and was pushed forward in his quest for the gavel last week,” Keene said.

“Cosponsoring this Georgia-made legislation was my first act as a Member of Congress and is, fittingly, the first bill I am introducing in the 118th Congress,” Carter explained in a press release exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Instead of adding 87,000 new agents to weaponize the IRS against small business owners and middle America, this bill will eliminate the need for the department entirely by simplifying the tax code with provisions that work for the American people and encourage growth and innovation,” Carter added. “Armed, unelected bureaucrats should not have more power over your paycheck than you do.”

“As a former small business owner, I understand the unnecessary burden our failing income tax system has on Americans,” Rep. Jeff Duncan, R-S.C., went on to say in a statement. “The Fair Tax Act eliminates the tax code, replaces the income tax with a sales tax, and abolishes the abusive Internal Revenue Service. If enacted, this will invigorate the American taxpayer and help more Americans achieve the American Dream.”

“I support the Fair Tax because it simplifies our tax code,” Rep. Bob Good, R-Va. commented in a recently released statement. “This transforms the U.S. tax code from a mandatory, progressive, and convoluted system to a fully transparent and unbiased system which does away with the IRS as we know it. It is good for our economy because it encourages work, savings, and investment. Thank you to my colleague Rep. Buddy Carter for leading this effort to simplify the system for American taxpayers.”

“I’m very proud to once again co-sponsor the FairTax (sic) Act,” Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., stated. “We’ve seen a continued growth of the IRS and a persistent punishment of hardworking Americans via the tax code. What we’re calling for is a simplified and fair code that works for all, not just some. I urge my colleagues to support this commonsense legislation that fights back against the weaponization of the IRS and stops punishing those who work hard to succeed.”

The bill would totally remove the national personal and corporate income taxes and erase the IRS from existence, which, as of this writing, is preparing to hire 87,000 new agents, who are going to be armed by the way, and will implement a national sales tax.

The legislation would also end the death, gift, and payroll taxes and would replace the current tax code with a national consumption tax. I’m failing to see where any of this is a bad idea. Let’s get this done.

The Fair Tax Act has eleven co-signers, including Cammack, Duncan, Good, Rep. Andrew Clyde, and House Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Scott Perry.

  1. I NOW am supporting a “Flat Tax” if it doesn’t exclude ANYONE. Also a voter ID similar to a “Visa” card to vote will be soon necessary. If you don’t have savings, to a Job, you can’t vote to increase taxes. An if you’re allowed to, and eligible to vote, then your vote is verified and you pay a larger tax, then those who vote against the spending. If you think it’s a good Act or Bill, then be willing to pay for it yourself.
