(Patriot Insider) – A judge in the New York Supreme Court has ruled this week that a law in New York City which would have permitted non-citizen residents to vote in local elections violated state law and the state constitution.
This law reveals the strategy behind why Joe Biden and his administration has done nothing to stop the border crisis. Essentially, they are letting in thousands and thousands of illegals in order to hopefully turn those individuals into full on Democratic Party voters by implementing a similar kind of law to the one that was just struck down in NYC.
Kind of hard to deny that’s the ultimate goal and plan when you just witnessed Democrats trying to pull it off in one of the most important cities in the country.
“There is no statutory ability for the City of New York to issue inconsistent laws permitting non-citizens to vote and exceed the authority granted to it by the New York State Constitution,” Staten Island Supreme Court Justice Ralph Porzio went on to write in his 13-page ruling, according to a report published by the New York Post.
According to The Western Journal, “The judge said that the city’s December “Our City, Our Vote” would go against the state’s Election Law and Municipal Home Rule Law. These laws permitted only U.S. citizens above 18 to vote in state and local elections, according to the judge, the New York Post reported.”
“Because the city’s law went against state constitutional requirements, should the city extend voting rights to its over 800,000 resident aliens, it would first need to hold a referendum, the judge wrote in his ruling, according to the New York Times,” WJ reported.
In December, the New York City City Counsel approved 33-14, with two abstentions, to allow the city’s resident aliens, who make up a stunning 10 percent of the city’s population, the right to vote.
The was due to come into effect in January of 2023, just in time for the state’s elections. But that plan has now been thwarted.
Even former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio didn’t think the law would survive lawsuits brought against it, though he himself did not veto the bill.
“I still have a concern about it. Citizenship has an extraordinary value. People work so hard for it,” de Blasio went on to say in December, according to reports from the Associated Press.
Joseph Borelli, GOP New York City City Council Minority Leader, was among the plaintiffs who challenged the legislation.
Back in December, Borelli commented that the law “devalues citizenship, and citizenship is the standard by which the state constitution issues or allows for suffrage in New York state elections at all levels.”
Borelli was happy to hear the ruling, commenting on it in a news release put out on Monday.
“Today’s decision validates those of us who can read the plain English words of our State Constitution and State statutes,” Borelli stated in the news statement posted on his Twitter account.

“Noncitizen voting in New York is illegal,” Borelli said.
“The law’s proponents told Gothamist that the case’s outcome was not surprising since plaintiffs filed the lawsuit in Staten Island, a Republican-leaning part of the city,” the WJ report stated.
“They went court shopping where they knew that the court would be favorable to them,” New York City Immigration Coalition head Murad Awawdeh said in a statement to the Gothamist.
“We’re gonna keep fighting to ensure that nearly 1 million New Yorkers who are building their families, paying taxes and investing in our communities have a say in their local democracy,” Awawdeh added, according to the Gothamist.
Well, if their contribution means something to them, how about taking the plunge and becoming a full-fledged citizen of the United States? Really show the level of commitment they have for wanting the right to vote.
Otherwise, this just looks like an attempt by Democrats to further dehumanize these individuals by treating less like people and more like votes to keep their political power.

Allow illegal aliens to enter the country so they can become voters for the party that broke the law to let them in. Teach communist dogmas like CRT to school children. Let drag queens read sexually charged materials to small children at of all places, the library, which should be a safe space. I guess they don’t realize that they too will not survive their “revolution”. Those who are promising them a Marxist utopia are leading them, and through them, the rest of us to the end of America, as they see it. I see it as leading them to civil war, which they will lose.
