The Use Of Stingrays, Devices To Locate And Track Suspects Via Their Cell Phones, Is Used Around The Country. What’s Going On In Arizona?

(Patriot Insider) – Democrats are desperate to impede and obstruct the forensic audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 election results any way possible.

They have sent in a massive team of lawyers and activists to threaten, harass, and bully the audit company and volunteers working the operation.

Prior to the audit even being able to get off the ground they were fighting tooth and nail to prevent it from even happening.

Now that it’s going on and there doesn’t seem to be anything they can do to stop it, it looks as though they may still be using all the tools they can get their hands on to spy and interfere whenever possible.

The Gateway Pundit obtained plane routes of a police plane from April 30th and they believe it’s raised a lot of questions, especially about cell phone tracking capabilities by law enforcement.

We all know the Democrats have their hand in every organization under the sun so it’s most definitely not out of the realm of possibilities that they have somehow been using the Phoenix Police Department and cell phone tracking devices, known as Stingrays, to meddle in the ongoing audit.

The Stingray technology became widely known to the public via a 2008 case in California where a tax cheat was caught after filing tax returns for dead people and collecting their refunds.

The suspect, Daniel Rigmaiden, thought he had covered his tracks well, and he probably did, however he did not account for the little known Stingray devices that the government was using to secretly locate and track suspects of criminal activity.

Rigmaiden became the first individual to gain notoriety due to the use of Stingrays to catch him in the act and ever since then the use of this type of technology has been a source of debate.

How much ability should the government have to track individuals’ cell phones? Should there be any restraints? Should warrants be required?

The years have brought about tighter restrictions on the use of Stingrays, also called IMSI catchers, cell-site simulators or fake cell towers, and government agencies under the Department of Justice umbrella were required to obtain a warrant before using these devices.

However, since 2016, it appears that the stance of federal agencies is essentially that a warrant is no longer necessary since everyone knows they can track cell phones.

All that being said, what is going on in the air above the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Arizona where the 2020 audit is taking place?

Back in 2013, the FBI/DOJ signed an agreement with the Phoenix Police Department making it clear that the PPD has equipment like the Stingrays previously discussed.

While they claim to only use these devices to support public safety or criminal investigations, it’s clear there is a lackadaisical approach to the use of IMSI catchers by law enforcement.

The Gateway Pundit shared photographs of police plane routes that are focused heavily around the airspace above the Coliseum. They wondered what these planes were doing and were they using Stingray-like devices on the cell phones of those inside, performing the audit?

After writing about this discovery, the Phoenix Police Department wrote a statement to TGP saying:

“This was brought to our attention by another media outlet. The article narrative is not accurate. While the maps do accurately represent our flights, both times where the aircraft was on police calls that had nothing to do with the events at the Veteran Memorial Coliseum. Please update your news story. Maggie Cox, Sergeant Public Affairs Bureau Phoenix Police Department.”

This doesn’t seem to answer any questions about the bizarre police activity above the Coliseum during the audit but one thing is certain: Democrats are getting extremely desperate to stop the audit.

What is going on in Phoenix?
