(Patriot Insider) – According to a report from WND, national groups that represent retail, truckers, and independent businesses are now suing the White House over the vaccine mandate that it is trying to force down on Americans, which is essentially stripping away someone’s bodily autonomy and the right they have to make their own healthcare decisions.
The American Trucking Associations, the National Federation of Independent Business and the National Retail Federation have all filed lawsuits in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Wednesday.
“This is not a case about the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, which are a marvel of modern medicine … This is a case about American businesses that do not want to face the immediate irreparable harm of losing employees, incurring substantial and unrecoverable compliance costs, and worsening already fragile supply chains and labor markets,” the groups went on to write in the court filings.
“The American Trucking Associations along with the Mississippi Trucking Association and the Texas Trucking Association said that the mandate ‘could have devastating impacts on the supply chain and the economy,’ and that the administration has ‘unfortunately, chosen to move forward despite those warnings,’ ATA president and chief executive Chris Spear said in a statement,” the report revealed.
“We are asking the court to stay implementation of the mandate because we believe the Occupational Safety and Health Administration did not satisfy the statutory requirements for issuing this Emergency Temporary Standard instead of going through the proper rulemaking process,” Nicholas Geale, ATA vice president of workforce policy went on to say in a recently released statement.

Matthew Shay, the president and chief executive of the National Retail Federation, put out his own statement where he said that the December deadline to provide proof that workers have been vaccinated, along with the January deadline for starting to administer COVID tests to unvaccinated employees is “both unworkable and virtually impossible.”
“The National Federation of Independent Business said in a statement that the mandates restricted the freedom of small business owners and called the mandate a ;clear example of administrative overreach,'” the report added.
Karine Jean-Pierre, the principal deputy press secretary for the White House, spoke with reporters on Tuesday saying that the vaccine mandate would actually help prevent labor shortages by keeping workers from getting sick.
Here’s a grand idea that the people in the Biden administration seem to be determined to ignore. Just toss out the mandate. Stop trying to force people to take the vaccine. It violates the principles of freedom and a person’s rights concerning bodily autonomy.
On top of that, the vaccine doesn’t actually prevent the transmission of the virus. People still get sick and can pass it on to others. Then there is the lengthy list of side effects a person might experience from the jab.
Just stop this nonsense.
