ALERT: Trump-Appointed Border Chief Ousted By Biden Regime

(Patriot Insider) – It was only a matter of time before the Biden regime took action to replace the Border Patrol Chief and it appears that time is now.

Trump-appointed Chief Rodney Scott announced that he received his “3R letter” from the Biden administration on Wednesday in a Facebook post that has since been deleted.

The Biden regime effectively issued him an ultimatum instructing him to either “relocate, resign, or retire.”

On Wednesday, Chief Scott informed regional Border Patrol chiefs about his now imminent departure, which was finalized by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, according to the Washington Examiner.

Scott says he will remain in his current position for 60 days to ensure a “smooth transition” though there is nothing smooth about what the Biden administration has done along the southern border.

He also shared the news with the public via his personal Facebook page, though it appears he has since deleted the post.

“I received my 3R letter today. For those not familiar, that is Federal government slang for the letter issued to SES level employees informing them of a directed reassignment,” he explained. “The recipient has 3 options- relocate, resign, or retire. No rationale or reason is required, nor is it disciplinary.”

“Just a simple needs of the service directed reassignment so the new administration can place the person they want in the position.”

It should come as no surprise, however, considering Scott, a 29-year border patrol veteran, has been an ardent supporter of President Trump and the accomplishments of his administration in curbing the illegal immigration crisis.

Scott has been an open and avid supporter of the border wall and Trump’s tough immigration policies. He has also been a source of pushback and resistance to the Biden regimes’ radical reversal of Trump’s policies.

Infowars has reported on the friction between Scott and the Biden administration. In April, a leaked internal memo showed Scott staunchly pushing back on orders for US Immigration agencies to stop using terms like “illegal alien” and “assimilation.”

“This memorandum serves as my official nonconcurrence to the proposed updated terminology for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) communications and materials. I will not undermine this effort; however, I cannot endorse it,” Scott wrote in a letter addressed to Troy Miller, acting head of Customs and Border Protection.

Scott also told Miller that he was “concerned about the morale of our workforce,” and further went on to clarify, “when I reference morale, I am not referring to an employee’s happiness. I am referring to an individual’s willingness to take personal risk each day to keep others safe.”

The news of Scott’s ousting seems to be rather timely. Just hours before it was announced that Kamala Harris plans to finally pay her first visit to the southern border. It looks like the Biden administration has finally had enough pressure from the public, and even the media.

They’re acting but don’t expect any positive changes for America.

  1. Seems that the ‘retire’ or ‘resign’ options are essentially the same at this point in his career. I’d be real ‘curious’ as to what position and location the ‘relocate’ option would entail. Depending on that what/where he just might be best off taking it for as long as he can to add to his eventual actual retirement.
I know lots of folks who once they got to a certain retirement level continued to go to work with a song in their heart and a humble attitude with the knowledge they no longer had to put up with ANY malarkey from their ‘superiors’ as they could walk any time. Funny thing is, most of them enjoyed that time as some of their most fun and productive years.
