Twitter Source Code Locked Down After Musk Takeover… They Won’t Be Able To Hide What They’ve Been Doing

(Patriot Insider) – Well, Elon Musk did it. He bought Twitter. While the deal isn’t official quite yet, it’s going to happen likely by the end of the year.

Naturally, the liberal tyrants at the social media giant are reeling. The entire leftist machine has been throwing a collective tantrum at the very thought of Musk acquiring Twitter and restoring freedom of speech to the platform.

Leftist commies don’t want free speech anywhere in America but Twitter was the one place they were so darn successful at tampering it and silencing those whom they disagree and despise.

Now Musk has won the battle for Twitter but Twitter isn’t done playing games.

According to a report by Bloomberg, Twitter has locked down its source code. The company is claiming it’s to protect Twitter from potentially disgruntled employees going “rogue” but we all know it’s to protect the company from the truth coming out about just how heavily they’ve been censoring and silencing Americans based on political beliefs.

Now, with the source code locked down, all changes to Twitter’s code will require approval from a vice president, Bloomberg reported.

In other words, don’t expect any dramatic changes to the platform quite yet. Twitter is making sure they hold on to their censorship power for as long as possible.

Twitter acted “to keep employees who may be miffed about the deal from ‘going rogue,’” the Bloomberg report said, citing one of its sources, who is “familiar with the matter.”

Naturally, the action prompted much discussion on Twitter itself:

Twitter has frozen the code before but usually only before major events or to prevent mistakes from occurring.

Musk has previously discussed the idea that Twitter should open-source its algorithm which would, in theory, make Twitter’s decisions more transparent. It would mean that the code Twitter uses to determine how it handles tweets would be available to be seen by everyone.

Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal is now attempting to walk the line so as to hopefully keep his job in six months when Musk takes over. According to The New York Times, during a meeting with employees on Monday, he attempted to calm the panic.

“He wants Twitter to be a powerful, positive force in the world, just like all of us,” Agrawal said. “He believes Twitter matters.”

The Daily Mail reports, employees have been told there will be no layoffs or major changes for the next six months until the deal closes.

Twitter can lock down their code to hide the truth all they want but the truth is, their actions have been so obvious, blatant and shameless that we don’t even need the code to understand the severity of the censorship they have used on the American people.

  1. I would expect all kinds of sabotage just like the people that were left over form Obama’s White House that Trump allowed to stay on. If they can’t have their unchallenged say at Twitter, nobody will be able to tweet anything. So how’s come nobody is threatening to leave the country like they did (but never left) when Trump was elected? Then Biden was elected and is actually pooping the country out into the toilet and it doesn’t bother them a bit? Same guys. I’d prepare for the worst.
