WATCH: Bill Maher Sounds The Alarm On Exploding LGBT Numbers

(Patriot Insider) – The LGBT “community” is exploding and liberal talk show host Bill Maher questioned what’s really going on during a Friday segment of his show “Real Time with Bill Maher.”

He explained that the percentage of those who identify as LGBT has risen steadily with every generation and used a handy bar graph to illustrate this trend.

Maher noted that more than 20% of Generation Z Americans identify as LGBT, which has been a steady increase from the 2.6% of Baby Boomers who identify as such.

“If we follow this trajectory, we will all be gay in 2054,” said Maher sarcastically, to which the crowd awkwardly clapped and hooted and hollered for.

“I’m just saying, when things change this much this fast, people are allowed to ask, ‘what’s up with that?’ All the babies are in the wrong bodies?”

He noted how the discussion about abortion has suddenly become about LGBT people citing a recent list by the ACLU of people who would be “disproportionately harmed” should abortion become illegal on a federal level and second on the list was LGBT people with women not even appearing on the list at all.

Maher even pointed out that the LGBT ideology is predominantly growing in Democrat-governed states and within left-wing public school systems. Imagine that.

“If this spike in trans children is all natural, why is it regional?”

“Either Ohio is shaming them or California is creating them.”

Maher even stated that transgender medical procedures are “experimenting” on children and that these procedures can leave lifelong health problems such as sterility, bone disease and the loss of proper sexual function.

“We’re literally experimenting on children,” he said and pointed out that Finland and Sweden have restricted the use of hormone treatment on minors.

“This is not a serious, science-based discussion, it’s a blow being stuck in the culture wars using children as cannon fodder.”

Anyone who dares to speak out in opposition of the transgender ideology, or even so much as question it, often face severe backlash from the ideologues who promote it.

Maher noted that trans activist Chase Strangio recently said that stopping the circulation of a book questioning gender transition was a hill he would “die on.” These people are deranged zealots.

Bill Maher has made a reputation of calling out the left when he sees it necessary and fit to do so but he’s no friend of conservatives or the America First movement. Nonetheless, he is able to recognize the lunacy of the left’s cultural ideology and refuses to sit idly by while it rages on unchecked.

Maher is pretty good at ripping holes in the left’s dogma and this segment was spot-on. He pointed out the number one biggest reason why the transgender ideology should not be pushed on children, ever.

“Never forget,” he said, “children are impressionable and very, very stupid.”

Might sound harsh but he’s certainly not wrong. That’s why children have parents.
