(Patriot Insider) – More and more leftists are making it clear that they have little to no faith in President Joe Biden defeating former President Donald Trump in the 2024 general election later this year, especially after Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report was released that confirmed what Americans have been seeing ever since Biden announced his presidential campaign back in 2019. He is suffering from major cognitive decline. Just look at the number of falls he’s taken since being sworn into office. Biden constantly needs physical guidance to know where he’s going. He forgets things. A lot.
Add to that his very poor performance record, how he’s trashed the economy and much of the country in general by neglecting to deal with the border crisis, and well, the chances he can pull off a victory are slim.
This has led to speculation that Biden would not be the nominee for the Democratic Party and that someone else would ultimately take on Trump. Many believed that person would be none other than former first lady Michelle Obama, but according to her office, there are no plans for her to run.
“As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president,” Crystal Carson, the director of communications for Obama’s office, went on to say in a statement delivered to ITK on Tuesday.
As per a piece from Fox News, Obama is backing Biden and his vice president, Kamala Harris.
“Rumors of Obama’s candidacy came as questions about Biden’s mental capacity continue to swirl. The rumors began to circulate after some Republicans floated the idea that she could replace Biden on the November ballot,” Fox added. “Some political commentators said the former first lady has the best chance of beating former President Trump, who is the leading candidate to secure the GOP presidential nomination.”
Back in 2019, Democrats were seemingly hoping that the former first lady would toss her hat into the ring, but she shot that down by saying there was “zero chance” she would run for president.
“Just between us, and the readers of this magazine — there’s zero chance,” Obama stated during an interview with Amtrak’s magazine The National. “There are so many ways to improve this country and build a better world, and I keep doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives. But sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office will never be one of them. It’s just not for me.”
That is definitely good news for the American people. We certainly do not need another Obama in the White House. One was plenty. Now, let’s focus on getting Trump elected and put this country back on track.
