BIDEN’S AMERICA: President Trump Says He Was Indicted More Times Than Capone

(Patriot Insider) – It’s safe to say that no president, past or present, has been ruthlessly and relentlessly attacked by his political opposition more than Donald Trump. This man has been raked over the coals every single day since he announced his first bid for the White House back in 2015. We’ve witnessed him slandered and libeled endlessly, starting with the idea that he’s racist because he supports enforcing immigration law and building a wall, then graduating to the debunked Russian collusion scandal, two impeachments, and now four indictments. The left is clearly terrified of Trump and his America first agenda, which makes no sense as his detractors would benefit from those exact policies if they were implemented.

Trump did many great things for this country, all of which were promptly ruined the moment Joe Biden set foot in the Oval Office.

Even the former president himself is astounded at how much he has been attacked by the radical left, going on to compare himself to the infamous Al “Scarface” Capone, the most well known gangster in American history.

“Days before a deadline to file a response to the Supreme Court related to his bid for immunity from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Jan. 6 case against him, the former president took the stage in Reno, Nevada. While urging attendees to rally support at the Commit to Caucus event, Trump suggested the lawfare waged against him was well beyond that brought down on notorious gangster Al Capone,” BizPac Review wrote.

“Did anybody ever hear of the great Alphonse Capone, Al Capone, great, great head of the mafia, right?” asked the former president during the event.

“Mean, Scarface. He had a scar that went from here to here,” Trump went on to say, using his finger to trace the line of a scar from his temple down to his chin, “and he didn’t mind at all. But he was a rough guy.”

“Now, I heard he was indicted once — a couple of people told me a few times more — but I was indicted four times,” proclaimed Trump, before going on to elaborate about how bad Capone was. “If he had dinner with you and if he didn’t like the way you smiled at him at dinner, he would kill you. You’d be dead. By the time you walked out of the nice restaurant, you would be dead. He got indicted once. I got indicted four times.”

“Over bulls**t, I got indicted, bulls**t,” the 45th president asserted, making reference to the 91 counts brought against him.

“Ahead of Wednesday’s deadline for the former president’s legal team to issue its response to Smith’s request for a writ of certiorari to the Supreme Court to accelerate the appeals process over Trump’s claimed immunity from wrongdoing over allegations related to Jan. 6 on account of his position as president, Trump’s team had filed a separate motion related to a lower court appeal by making a different notorious comparison,” the report from BPR noted.

Special Counsel Jack Smith was seeking to try and get the review of Trump’s appeal in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals moving a bit faster, though his legal team said such force would then require “round-the-clock” work that would have to go “through the holidays, inevitably disrupting family and travel plans.”

“It is as if the Special Counsel ‘growled, with his Grinch fingers nervously drumming, ‘I must find some way to keep Christmas from coming. … But how?’” the president’s attorneys stated, reciting portions of Dr. Seuss’ “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”

“Never forget: Our enemies want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom. That’s what I do. They want to silence me because I will never let them silence you. And in the end, they are not after me. They’re after you. And I just happened to be standing in their way. I am in their way,” Trump declared in his remarks on Sunday.
